Follow our Step-by-Step System Below
Standard Dosage: Dilute 2L into 50,000L of water.
Small Pools: If the pool is less than 30,000L, shake the bottle and pour in only 1L.
Water Parameters: Ensure pool water parameters are correct. Specifically, aim for a pH of 7 and Total Alkalinity between 80–150.
Chlorine Neutralization: Allow chlorine levels to drop below 1ppm. Do not add chlorine or floaters for up to 10 days prior to treatment. Confirm chlorine levels are below 1ppm before proceeding.
Clean the System: Backwash the pool thoroughly before adding the product.
Set to Circulate: Turn the pool motor to the circulate (bypass) setting.
Application: With the motor running, shake well and pour the Nero4U Pool Sanitiser directly into the weir.
Circulate: Allow the pool to run on the circulate setting for 10 minutes.
Flocculation: Switch the pool motor off for 24 hours to allow dirt to flocculate and settle on the pool floor.
Vacuum: Vacuum the dirt lying on the pool floor while the motor is running on the waste setting.
Filtration: Turn the motor back to the filter setting and run on a normal 8-hour timer.
Maintenance:
o Backwash the pool weekly.
o Reapply every 4 weeks to maintain water quality.
Once treated: Pool water is soft on the skin and eyes.

2 litres treats up to 50,000 litres of pool water. For a standard residential pool (typically 30,000–50,000L), one 2L bottle is sufficient per monthly treatment. If the pool is less than 25,000L, add only 1L.

Yes — once diluted in pool water, it is softer on both skin and eyes than chlorine. However, the concentrated product may cause irritation, so avoid direct contact with the undiluted formula and keep out of reach of children.
No. Nero4U® Pool Sanitiser is non-corrosive and contains no copper sulphates, making it safe for all pool surfaces, pumps, filters, and plumbing.
For green or dirty pools, you'll need to follow the extended process: shock the water first with Hydrogen Peroxide (2L per 25,000L) or chlorine (2 cups per 25,000L — not stabilised), wait 7 days if using chlorine, then add Nero4U® and allow 24–36 hours for flocculation before vacuuming to waste.
